Being a really good Freebandy player takes practice, practice and more practice. But anyone with just a little feeling for the ball can learn the basic moves and techniques pretty quickly. When you think you have the right feeling you can take it a step further and combine some of your own cool moves and tricks.
You can begin your first term in the Freebandy School – Level 1 – here and now! Peter Runestig and Nicole Karlsson from our 1st Ambassadors exhibition team will in 9 instruction films, step by step, demonstrate the basic moves you’ll need so that you can build up a good playing style. If you are a beginner, we recommend that you go through the lessons in numerical order, begin with 1 and then move on to the next lesson when you feel comfortable with your technique. A little further down you’ll also find more films with extra material in which Nicole and Peter show their own specialties.
You can download the films to your own computer and watch them again and again. The films are in QuickTime format and you’ll need to have the free QuickTime software installed on your computer to view the films. (Click here to get the free QuickTime player.)
Note! In order to download the films you must first be registered with us as a member and “Freebandy-fan”. Go to the registration page and sign up. You’ll then be able to use all the services and functions right away.
